Hotel Britannia is situated in the heart of
Barrio Amón, one of San Jose's first and most historic
neighborhoods.
Hotel Britannia is centrally located 25 minutes
from the International Airport and just six blocks from downtown
San Jose City, close to tourist attractions, banks, post office,
transport services and the best night life spots that San Jose
has to offer.
From the airport take the international highway
to San Jose, go to Paseo Colon then take the Second Avenue till
Central Street. Turn left in the central park, and go eleven
blocks. Next, turn right to two blocks and turn left on 3rd
street and go two blocks, Hotel Britannia is on right side
corner. High ceilings, original walls made of thick, brick
arches and stained glass windows letting in colorful light; all

The Hotel Britannia is divided in two parts; one
is the old house which contains five Deluxe rooms, five Jr.
Suites, as well as the restaurant which occupies what was once
the old wine cellar of the house, appropriately named "The
Cellar". The new part of the Hotel consists of a four-story
addition containing 13 Standard rooms.
The Standard rooms all have: TV with cable,
telephone, private bathroom with bathtub, hot water, safe
deposit box and either one king size bed or two twin beds.
The Deluxe and Jr. Suite rooms have, in addition
to all of the items stated for the Standard rooms, a desk, hair
dryer in the bathroom, air conditioner and either one king size
bed or two queen size beds. The old wine cellar was remodeled
into the Hotel's restaurant (capacity: 60). It is open for
breakfast and dinner. The restaurant specializes in
international cuisine and serves a wide variety of delicious
dishes.
The bar serves any type of mixed drinks, as well
as beer and wine. Hotel Britannia also provides the following
services: Souvenir Shop, Laundry, Dry cleaning, Room Service,
Fax and mail, Transfer to and from Airport (upon request),
